He took this to Twitter to share the story of his playmate called Halima who he grew up with in Asaba and got married at an early stage

While growing up in Asaba, I had this neighbour & friend called Halima. We used to play a lot together. One day her dad took her back to Katsina to marry an old Alhaji. Halima was only 12 & died at childbirth. She's the reason I became a feminist. I still see her in my dreams.
